Whether you're going to happy hour or maybe a date after work (wink wink), transforming your day attire into the perfect night outfit may seem challenging especially if you're on a tight schedule. However, with the right style options you'll be set from picking up your morning coffee to last call at your favorite bar.
Long days at work require comfy and functional gear but let's get real when going out at night we wanna look hot. For me, dresses are one of the best articles of clothing that can be easily styled in multiple ways. They can look super cool with sneakers, dressy with heels, or bad ass with boots all according to your personal style. Luckily, you only need tiny adjustments to transform the casual ensemble into a smoking hot outfit that will definitely have heads turning.
How to style a maxi dress: Day
-Wear a pair of cool kicks if you're on your feet a lot during the day. You can also wear a pair of gladiator sandals for a boho look.
-Throw on an oversized denim jacket for an effortless vibe. If boho is more your cup of tea you can also do a oversized pullover sweater or a cardigan (Layering is always fun and stylish).
-To finish the look you can wear your favorite accessories (sunnies, jewelry, hat or bag).
How to dress up a maxi dress: Night
-The first thing you'll need to do is ditch the flats for a great pair of boots or heels.
-Then switch the denim jacket for a fitted leather jacket. (You could never go wrong with leather!)
-Now replace your day bag with an awesome leather or printed clutch, wear earrings or rings (bold accessories will add a new layer of style to you're ensemble) or if you're like me keep it minimal, when wearing a killer dress less is more!
